About
I’m a BAFTA and Grierson nominated documentary director and series producer specialising in impact documentaries and innovative factual formats. I'm known for making emotionally resonant, entertaining and visually distinctive films often about complex subjects.
I've developed and made films on all kinds of topics from climate change, brain development and NASA’s moon missions to natural history and indigenous communities. I’ve worked with the BBC, Nat Geo, Disney +, PBS, Discovery and Paramount.
My most recent project is Secrets of the Penguins currently on Disney+ and National Geographic. I was the series producer, director and co-writer on this 3-part series presented by Bertie Gregory and narrated by Blake Lively. My team and I created the viral social clip of cliff diving penguin chicks that’s achieved over 165 million views across platforms.
I’m passionate about supporting new directors and advocating for the craft of unscripted filmmaking. I’m a trustee for the Directors Charitable Foundation, a visiting tutor at the National Film and Television school and I have mentored for Women in Film and TV.
