This landmark BBC documentary was the broadcaster’s first major film on climate change in many years. Designed to be a definitive guide to a complex and wide-ranging subject, the film balances investigative journalism with human stories. I worked closely with Sir David Attenborough to craft a new voice for him on this issue that was authoritative, personal and direct. Widely acclaimed for its clarity and impact the film was credited with helping shape public debate and cited as having influenced the UK government’s declaration of a climate emergency and commitment to Net Zero.
